Attorney Whitmoyer actively participates in the local community, currently serving as solicitor and member of Lebanon 2000, a non-profit corporation established to assist in the restoration of the downtown Lebanon area. He is a long-standing member of the Myerstown/ELCO Rotary Club. He also has served as President and Program Chairman of the Lebanon County Estate Planning Council, member of the Eastern Lebanon County School Board, and Solicitor of the Myerstown Borough for over twenty-five years.

He has made a significant contribution to the community, volunteering in every legal aid program in Lebanon Country since he entered the bar. Currently, he is a pro bono panel member of the program jointly administered by the Lebanon County Bar Association and the Central Pennsylvania Legal Services Corporation.
